We chose to use a blurred image as the main song on the album is 'Harping On' and in this video the lad is supposed to be stoned because he has been smoking weed. We thought if we used a blurred image it would link well with the idea of being under the influence of drugs and alcohol. In this image is a bottle of Smirnoff vodka, tobacco (we obviously didn't use actual weed for the photographs or the video but we think that tobacco has the same sort of look). Also the white things in the center of the image, one of them is a filter, and the other is the rizla (papers).
Good ideas but i am concerned about the image choice... did you intentionally choose blurred images? if so why? I'm not sure what the bright white shape in the centre of the cd is and the lyrics are very difficult to read. Look again at insides and think about what else could go in there. If you decide to go ahead with this you will need to explain in detail why you chose to subvert conventions, how this meets TA and what effect you hoped to achieve.
